With conventional instruments, the general way of obtaining a long sustain was to replace the bridge with a part that had a heavier mass. A number of heavyweight bridges were developed to achieve this, but it cannot be denied that there was resistance to a certain type among those who cared about original looks. That's why we've completely re-thought the whole idea that heavy weight=long sustain. As a result, we've come up with a material that has exellent sound quality, but doesn't diminish the player's sensitivity in spite of its light weight―high purity titanium, precision-machined to create the new PR-03 bass saddle. When you use this new bass saddle, You'll get all the sounds you want, from bright to long sustain, without losing any of the profile of the original model.
